Rule of Law in International Law and International Law in the Rule of Law

The rule of law is a value that is typical for a civilised society. Consequently, the rule of law and its principles are respected at international, supranational and national levels. Their importance is not and cannot be questioned by anyone or anything. The International Law Section aspires to be a forum for scientific debate on what is the place for the rule of law within international law (both public and private), but equally what should be the place of international law and the obligations arising from it within the existing rule of law.
