Interdisciplinary section II

Relations between legal professions

In practice, pursuit of a legal profession may encounter a couple of ethical issues arising from the cooperation and relationships among representatives of various judicial professions. Meetings and communication between professionals representing different legal professions is seen as a very sensitive issue. Even though the mere meeting and social networking cannot pose a problem, it is nevertheless clear that communication on pending case between a lawyer, prosecutor and a judge concerned is unacceptable. On the contrary, a friendly ordinary meeting of experts from the different fields of law should be considered as a creating an opportunity for the exchange of legal opinions. Also, any measures aimed at limiting personal contacts between the said persons are inadmissible because this may not refuse their right to participate in social events or to meet friends who carry out other legal profession.
